At Sussex Electrical and Fire, we proudly offer the HUSH-PRO, a state-of-the-art Grade C domestic fire alarm system that complies with the BS 5839-6 2019 standards. This advanced system is equipped with its own mains power supply and a rechargeable backup battery, making it the perfect solution for homes and individual dwellings.
The HUSH-PRO system is engineered to deliver superior safety and convenience, ensuring your home remains fully protected. Packed with innovative features, it surpasses traditional fire alarm systems to provide added functionality and peace of mind. Below are some of the key benefits:
Remote Monitoring: HUSH-PRO can send alerts about fire incidents, system faults, and other critical information directly to smartphones, tablets, and computers, enabling immediate action and compliance with safety regulations.
The HUSH-PRO system continuously monitors its wiring for faults, including open and short circuits, and checks the operation and condition of individual components. If any issues arise, they are immediately indicated on the dwelling's controller, the communal system, and the C-TEC Cloud, ensuring timely intervention. If a fault is silenced by the occupant, the alarm will automatically reactivate after 24 hours if the problem persists, maintaining a constant state of safety.
In the event of a Fire Level 1 alarm (which may indicate a false alarm), HUSH-PRO activates local alarm devices with a distinct message or tone. Occupants can silence the alarm for up to two minutes. If the alarm continues and is confirmed as a false alarm, the system will log the incident as a supervisory event and notify the C-TEC Cloud for remote monitoring. Once resolved, the system will return to its normal status.
If a Fire Level 2 alarm occurs (indicating a likely real fire), local alarm devices sound with an evacuation message that cannot be silenced by the occupant. This alarm will also be transmitted to the communal/landlord system, triggering pre-programmed actions. For example, a Fire Level 2 alarm on one floor may activate alarms in other units to ensure at-risk residents are evacuated promptly. All incidents are logged and monitored in the C-TEC Cloud until emergency services arrive.
If the Fire & Rescue Service determines that a "Stay Put" policy has been compromised in a building, they can activate secure evacuation keyswitches on the communal system to help evacuate residents safely. Once activated, a Fire Level 2 alarm will sound across all affected units, and the actions will be logged in both the communal system and the C-TEC Cloud for monitoring and coordination with emergency teams.
